Does Spelliverse need the internet?

Nope — the whole game works offline. Perfect for car rides and flights.

Why does the app ask for the microphone?

Only for Walter's Shout It Out and the "Speak" buttons, where kids spell words out loud. Voice recognition runs on the device; you can decline and every other game still works.

What's the "Grown-Ups Only" lock?

A parental gate. Sign-in and Game Center leaderboards are meant for parents, so Ferris asks a quick multiplication question only a grown-up should answer before opening them.

How do I reset progress?

Tap the gear on the title screen → Reset progress. It asks twice — a reset wipes all words, coins, and awards and can't be undone.

Is there anything to buy?

No. Spelliverse has no ads and no purchases. Coins are earned by playing, just for fun.
